Jon has worked with high profile leaders across all sectors, both independently and through the New Citizen Project, which he co-founded with Irenie Ekkeshis in 2014.

New Citizen Project is a strategy and innovation consultancy with a belief that, given the right opportunity, people can and will shape the things that matter to them for the better. NCP goes much further than designing “engagement” processes: the team use creative strategy, social psychology, behavioural theory and design thinking to create interventions that support organisations of all types to involve people in their work and impact.

Working independently, Jon also provides 1:1 Facilitator Leadership mentoring, support in strategy development and speechwriting, and is available to lead senior team workshops to explore the impact that Citizen thinking can have across an organisation.

As well as his connection to New Citizen Project, Jon is also a member of the Global Advisor Network of the Apolitical Foundation, where he led extensive work on Democratic Innovation. He is also on the Advisory Council of DemocracyNext, an organisation he helped found as one of the original Strategic Advisors, and on the Leadership Council of the Democracy and Culture Foundation. He is also a Fellow of the Young Foundation, a Visiting Fellow at the University of Manchester, and an Associate at the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
